A small but select gathering was held at
Turtley Corn Mill near Avonwick where members enjoyed chatting and looking
at photographs (and sampling the good selection of local real
ales!).
One of members, John Scott, is giving a talk
on Traditional Sailing Craft at the Royal Dart Yacht Club in Kingswear (just
across the river from Dartmouth) on 1st March. He has given this talk to
other groups who all say they found it interesting and enjoyable. This will
be followed by a light supper.
Our Fitting-out Supper on 23rd March will be
at Turtley Corn Mill. This is just off the A38 between South Brent and
Avonwick so should be convenient for members coming from all directions. We
have eaten there and found the food and surroundings to be as excellent as
the beer.
